Added – Fastlane by PayPal: accelerated guest checkout for the Advanced Credit/Debit Card gateway. Returning Fastlane members are recognized by their email address, verify with a one-time code and pay with their saved card in a couple of clicks; new customers can enroll while entering their card. Available to US merchants transacting in USD; enable it under PayPal Gateway settings → Advanced Credit Card tab.
Added – Fastlane flows: choose Email Detection (Fastlane engages automatically when a member email address is entered) or Express Button (a Fastlane button in the Express Checkout section, styled and sized to match the other express buttons).
Added – Fastlane options: “Fastlane by PayPal” watermark under the email field, signup link for non-members, email-field-at-top checkout layout, and optional authenticate-on-page-load for customers whose email is already populated.
Added – Fastlane member autofill: the saved card’s billing address, the profile’s default shipping address, and phone number are applied to the checkout automatically; the card fields are replaced with a tokenized-card tile with “Choose a different card” and “Enter card details manually” actions.
