Real Cookie Banner PRO 5.3.9 or older had a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability when the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) is active. Cookie information published by a TCF vendor could run scripts in the browser of visitors who opened the privacy settings of the cookie banner or the cookie policy page. We strongly recommend to install updates to 5.4.0 or newer!
Real Cookie Banner 5.3.5 or older had a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability (CVE-2026-92977). On websites with open comments, a specially crafted visitor comment could run scripts in the browser of anyone who later opened that page. We strongly recommend to install updates to 5.3.6 or newer!
Real Cookie Banner 3.4.9 or older had an XSS vulnerability in the class parameter of its shortcodes. It could be exploited by users who are allowed to add shortcodes to content. We strongly recommend to install updates to 3.4.10 or newer!
