2.3.0 – 4-October-2026
Fixed: deleting or trashing a custom order status that is still assigned to at least one order is now blocked, with a clear message telling you how many orders use it. Previously the order(s) were left on a post_status WordPress no longer recognised and silently disappeared from the WooCommerce Orders list, with the only recovery path being a manual database edit.
Added: each order status’s own color is now also applied as a soft tint across its entire row in the WooCommerce Orders list (in addition to the existing colored status label), making statuses easier to scan at a glance.
Added: a new “Upgrade to Pro” menu item that links directly to Ni WooCommerce Custom Order Status Pro; also added the missing “View Pro” link for this plugin on its own “Other Plugins” cross-promotion page (every other listed plugin already had one).
